every wall and every boundary contains a contradiction: it can protect and injure, order and destroy, create habitat and take it away at the same time. my gaze is directed towards a world in which nature, function and built space often meet with an almost violent indifference. the images do not seek an intact order, but the traces of these conflicts — where vulnerability, resistance and social disregard become visible.
