the work is based on a dichromate cyanotype mixture. after exposure, the print is further worked chemically; tannin and different bleaching agents alter tonal values, colour depth and the character of the image. cyanotype is therefore not treated as a fixed blue process, but as the starting point for a controlled chemical transformation of the image. the current format is 43 × 63 cm. the work also marks the beginning of a new series in which dense structures, visual noise and the idea of a quiet, almost acoustic undertone come together.
