the Casa del Portuale by Aldo Loris Rossi was conceived as part of a larger urban vision for the port of Naples. its sculptural concrete forms translate function into an almost utopian architecture. my photographs focus on the tension between technical construction, monumental form and the present condition of a building in which the future imagined at the time of its creation is still visible.
